Sunday, A Day of Rest and Reading!

Hi everyone! I am so excited because this is the 1st post on my new blog which will focus on my love for reading and books. As the title states it is Sunday and I am spending the afternoon relaxing from all the chaos of the previous week by catching up on my never ending "to be read list". However, I have to confess I don't think I will ever be caught up on my TBR list hence the inspiration for the name of my blog but a girl can always try. Right ? Today, The sun is shining and the temperature outside is perfect so I have decided to sit on my porch, ignore all the chores that need to be done, and enjoy creation while I get lost in a book. Please note this is one of my favorite things to do. So what am I currently reading you may ask? I am reading "Remembrance" written by Michelle Madow.
I stumbled across Michelle's youtube Chanel the other day and discovered that she was a YA author and had written " Remembrance" I looked up her book on good reads and decided to give it a try. Now you may be wondering what is "Remembrance" about ? Why do you want to read it? I'm glad you asked because I was just about to tell you.
As stated on good reads "Lizzie Davenport has been reincarnated from Regency Era, England ... but she doesn't know it yet. Then Drew Carmichael transfers into Lizzie's high school at the beginning of the year, and she feels a connection to him, almost like she knows him. She can't stop thinking about him, but whenever she tries talking with him about the mysteries behind her feelings, he makes it clear that he wants nothing to do with her. Reaching him is even more difficult because she has a boyfriend, Jeremy, who has started to become full of himself after being elected co-captain of the varsity soccer team, and her flirtatious best friend Chelsea starts dating Drew soon after his arrival. So why can't she get him out of her mind ? Even though Lizzie knows she should let go of her fascination with Drew, fighting fate isn't going to be easy". Now, Doesn't that sound like a great read ? I think so too! And the best part is that I was able to purchase this book for 99 cents via my Nook Color. I believe it is the same price on the Kindle as well. This excites me because I love to read and purchase books but I am on a budget so I'm constantly on the look out for cheap reads. I have read 45 pages of this book so far and I really like it.If you have not heard of this book yet you really should check it out and while your at it you should stop by Michelle's youtube channel as well, You will be glad you did. When I finish this book, I will post my thoughts about the story. I hope everyone is having a great day and that you are able to find some time to relax and get lost in a book. Now it's time for me to wrap this up so I can get back to the story. So many books so little time. Oh yeah I forgot to mention that I would love to know what you are currently reading so feel free to leave me a comment below. Bye for now and happy reading! Abbey
